Located on Pak Hoi Street in Kowloon's Jordan district, Nathan Hotel is a convenient 5-minute walk from the Jordan MTR station. It possesses comfortable, sleek, contemporary furnishings, average check-in time, and slightly longer check-out (guests wait at the front desk as cleaning staff is immediately sent to your room to check for missing or broken anything's which require extra charges), and you can purchase 24 hours of internet access in each room for 50 HKD.
We booked 3 rooms for a 1-night stay at a rate of roughly 425 HKD, and the three rooms were completely different. The worst had one full-sized bed and the pervasive aroma of pungent cigarette smoke, another had three double beds, and the best had two full beds and a separate living room; in other words: rooms are luck of the draw here at Nathan Hotel.
Coupled with its basically polite, but not too accomodating staff, Nathan Hotel was overall sub-par to your average hotel experience. What is notable, however, is that even a three-star hotel in HK provides amenities like slippers...what a nice touch!
