Taxis in HK

In HK, RED taxis have the highest fares out of all colors, and serve all areas of Kowloon, Hong Kong Island. They go to & from the airport and Disneyland, but aren't permitted in the rest of Lantau Island or the New Territories except to carry passengers who are to Kowloon or Hong Kong Island. On Lantau Island, you'll catch a BLUE taxi, which run there exclusively. In the New Territories, catch a GREEN taxi, which are the second most expensive taxies, serving only parts of the New Territories.

And remember to always mind your routes! In one instance, when I suspected a taxi was taking the long way, my friends & I bade him goodbye a few blocks away from our destination - which, I think, shocked him - and we hoofed the rest of the way.
